In high heat conditions, AMSOIL Synthetic Metric Motorcycle Oil exceeds the standard for high temperature lubricant film strength for excellent wear protection. It keeps engines running cool, effectively reducing friction and heat, and contains a heavy anti-wear additive treatment to reduce wear regardless of operating conditions. AMSOIL Synthetic Metric Motorcycle Oil is thermally stable and contains maximum levels of oxidation inhibitor additives. It is highly resistant to volatility and is designed to prevent the destruction of sediment and carbon deposits for excellent engine cleanliness.

No Foaming
High-speed operation causes some engine oils to foam. When the foam bubbles move between the teeth of the gears or engine components, the lubricants collapse, allowing the metal surfaces to come into contact, causing wear. Motorcycles are prone to rust from storage, humidity and short rides. Rust can cause major damage such as uncontrolled wear, loss of compression and blowing. Good protection against rust, however, comes by design and does not naturally come from engine oils. Unlike many motorcycle oils, AMSOIL Synthetic Metric Motorcycle Oil contains special anti-corrosive agents that offer superior protection against rust. With a high base number of 11.1 (TBN), AMSOIL Synthetic Metric Motorcycle Oil provides greater protection against acidic corrosion and helps maintain internal engine cleanliness.
APPLICATIONS
Use AMSOIL Synthetic Metric Motorcycle Oil 15W-50 on Ducati*, BMW*, KTM*, Yamaha*, Triumph* and Royal Enfield*. Not recommended when API GL-4 or GL-5 transmission oil is required.

LIFETIME
It is recommended to use up to twice the change interval recommended by the motorcycle manufacturer (kilometres/hours) or one year, whichever comes first, on engines and gearboxes. When using an oil filter other than the AMSOIL Ea® motorcycle oil filter, change the filter at regular intervals. Racing or modified engines are exempt from the extended drain interval recommendations. oil changes are at the discretion of the owner.
